ACTS OF COMPASSION HAVE THE POWER TO CHANGE THE LIVES OF FAMILIES

There are many different ways to get involved and help Family Promise of Southern Chester County, with many different levels of commitment. If you choose to volunteer your time to work with families directly, Pennsylvania Law (PA Act 153) requires volunteers who are going to have direct contact with children to have certain clearances completed. Please plan ahead of time, as some of these can take a few weeks to complete. Call us at 610-444-0400 or visit our Contact page for more information about obtaining your clearances.

Before volunteering in either your congregation or at our Resource Center, you must attend a training session. Inquire about  a training session by emailing info@familypromisescc.org . Please include your basic contact information.

There are also plenty of opportunities to volunteer and provide support that don’t require clearance. Learn more by emailing us at info@familypromisescc.org for all of the many ways that the community can work together to fight homelessness.

“Giving back to others is an important part of my life.  I am grateful that I can share the blessings and opportunities that I have been given. The blessing I receive in return from the people that are supported is priceless.”

Mary, Volunteer from Family Promise of Southern Chester County
